What purpose does art serve in your life?
Updated: Jun 4, 2022
Hey everyone! I am the creator of VISION, a website made for aspiring young artists. I would like to briefly introduce myself first. My name is Sherby Raine Mojado, a 2nd-year college student taking up Bachelor in Multimedia Arts with a major in Graphic Design at Malayan Colleges Laguna. I was born in Calauan, a small town in Laguna where sweet pineapple is popular.
I have always been fascinated by art and music since I was a kid because when I create art, I feel like it clears my head from everything. It helps me make sense of my emotions. The same thing goes for music, it makes me feel calmer and more relaxed.
Although a lot of my free time is spent on making digital artworks and video editing, I have not been able to utilize my entire set of skills. I am determined to make the best use of my remaining time in college by aiming to contribute my ideas as I gain more experience so that I can take on higher-level responsibilities when needed and to prepare myself for future advancement opportunities.
What purpose does art serve in your life? I created VISION to train people to see like an artist. Today’s lifestyle is more visual than ever which is why I chose Graphic Design as my major. Not only do I enjoy making designs, but as a twenty-year-old student, I also would like to grab this opportunity to show the beauty of art.
To wrap it all up, I believe that art is for everybody — and no matter what level your skills are now, consider doing it regularly because they can always be improved. Always remember that it does not have to be beautiful to have an impact.
VISION is dedicated to lifting the spirits of young artists, so that they too can draw inspiration from all the beauty this world has to offer. I look forward to hearing from you and be inspired by your story. Get involved and stay creative!
TPWK.
Love, Sherby
